Customers Get More EMAILS Than CALLS Each Week
Pick up the phone.
It’s still one of the MOST effective ways to get new customers, and sometimes is the ONLY way to diffuse a tricky situation with your existing customer.
And yet, many sales reps are scared to pick up the phone. When I drill down into WHY they don’t want to pick up the phone, it’s often because they don’t want to “bother” their customer. They picture them getting bombarded all day long with annoying phone calls.
The truth is, customers get WAY more emails than phone calls. Don’t be scared to call your customers, especially prospects. It will actually make you stand. SO many sales reps just send email after email, hoping for the best. Don’t be one of them. Be different. Send the email AND make the phone call.
